We can rebore or sleeve cylinders from small 50cc motorbikes

up to large commercial truck engines. After the cylinders have been machined they then need honing to the correct size and finish. It is vital to achieve the correct finish to avoid any oil burning issues.

All the cylinders that we hone are plateau honed on our Delapina Autostroker honing machine ensuring the correct cross hatch pattern and finish.

LINE BORING

Blocks can be line bored to repair damaged main bearing housings or to bore out unfinished cam bushes using our Scledum B02500 line boring machine. We can line bore housings from 28mm up to 225mm and blocks

up to 2.5 metres in length.

ONSITE REBORING AND LINER FITTING

We also provide an onsite service where we travel to your premises to rebore cylinders or fit new liners with the engine still in the chassis saving your valuable down time and labour.

COUNTER BORING LINER FLANGE SEATS

Liner flange seats can also be counter bored and the liner heights re-set using liner shims onsite.
